Before we could step out, the looming clouds burst into pouring rain...
…the view was so lovely from the window… leaves sparkling like emeralds, barks shining chocolaty brown, squirrels running hither and thither, caught unawares by the sudden down-pour…
Chutki wasn't as pleased as I was about the prospect of staying home while she could have happily trotted in her pretty pink dress and sweet yellow shoes, outdoors.
But when I talked about starting a new quilt, she quickly forgot her troubles and got busy.
Now that we’ve got some of our pieces ready for the next step how about a Chai break?
Garma garam chai with Parle-G, anyone…?
We flipped through the pages of Fons and Porter's "Our best seasonal quilts" and came upon floral trellis.
A candy pink, a mossy green and a white floral were cut and soon it’s time for piecing.Garma garam chai with Parle-G, anyone…?

I am all for the Garma garam chai with Parle-G.
That's a nice & sweet post, Pratima.
Thank you, Avinash...
Chutki and I would be delighted to have chai with you anytime :o)
Wow Pratima! seems like Chutki and you enjoy each other's company. And quilting with you is ofcourse a wonderful prospect for Chutki. Would you care to include me too? :)
Hi Pratima, that was a nice post. I am awed by your cute chutki. I should meet her next time. So how is the quilt coming along? I should get trained by you someday.
Thanu, it's been an amazing day with you. I couldn't bring along Chutki as she is busy getting her things ready for our travel. But she turned green when I narrated the details of our day :D
Hii Trinity, thank you for the sweet comments.
Chutki would love to meet you too :D
The quilt is coming along great. I'll try to post some pics next time :o)
Beautiful colors for your quilt. I love the spicy aroma of chai. Somehow I'm thinking I've never had any chai as delicious as true homemade Indian chai.
